Best Damn Tacos: Hack Comic-Con 2019

Wether you are here for The Con, or people-watching for the best cosplay, you’re bound to work up an appetite. And it’s no secret America’s finest city boasts the best tacos in the US, but… have you tried em all? Since The Rowlbertos Crew are the self-proclaimed taco experts of San Diego, we’ve decided to give you the Best Damn Tacos: How to Hack Comic-Con 2019!

Grab a seat and take a load off! Nestled to the west of the convention center, you’ll find a sheik atmosphere offering a full-bar, two patios and three semi-private indoor spaces! Mezcal flights, tequila flights and a great tap list will keep you busy but don’t get too distracted, you’re about to eat some of the best damn tacos in San Diego!

These Taco Stands have been popping up all over the city, but this one in particular really  feels like homeSmall but mighty, this place packs a punch delivering all of the taco staples with their especial flavors and hand-made tortillas. The salsa-bar even scares the zombies offering some extra heat and fun flavors.

Wow… this place opens up like a kitchen cafeteria. Don’t expect sloppy-joes, LOLA55 has acclaimed chefs in their open-kitchen concept showing you just how to craft excellent tacos. Their unique approach to flavor, spice and presentation will make your tastebuds happy and is “IG WORTHY”. Stop by the bar for a true craft-cocktail experience and pair it with your favorite taco.

Mesquite grilled filet, mash, avocado mousse, smoky pasilla salsa, crispy leeks, jalapeño toreado

Michos keeps it 100 with their taco-shop style menu featuring all of the San Diego favs. Tucked away in ATOMIC in the Gaslamp, this place is a bit of a speakeasy for the locals in the know. A full bar never herts either; this a great place for a mid-day refuel.

Family-owned means great service and a lil’ extra love from my boy in the kitchen. Tacos El Cabron almost SOLD-OUT during 2018’s Comic-Con, simply cause people couldn’t get enough! They’re close, fast and a go-to spot for the locals. If you’re an early riser, they got you covered for Breakfast as well.
