Macro Photography is when you shoot extreme close-ups at objects. A lot of stuff I’ve seen online is of insects or very small objects you wouldn’t (or couldn’t) shoot with a standard lens. But with the power of a macro lens, you can really get into the details of any object, big or small. I used an iPhone Lens and kept real simple but I went crazy looking at everything! It was really interesting using the lens like a microscope. Seeing details of things we handle every day was fascinating. Characteristics of so many random things like a banana, a water drop, a dog paw! Details that would essentially go un-noticed normally had A LOT going on. So I wanted to focus on items that we’re always on or near me for this new perspective, and I must say, definitely got the money shots! Check out the photos below and try to guess the object.
